Stanton Moor

It had to happen - see the January posts. I have returned to photograph that tree again, only this time with a layer of snow on the ground. After the first real snow in this area this winter, the sun was out, it was cold - perfect conditions for a good walk, so that's exactly what we did. A beautiful morning's walk and passed by the tree again...
It was a fantastic morning and the lighting was just superb. The long shadows cast by the sun on the silver birch trees within the woods just cried out to be photographed, so I did! An enjoyable morning.
