(2008-6799) Evening reflections in lake at Algrøy
We had been in Norway for 24 hours and I managed to slip a disc, which had the impact of bringing our trip to an abrupt halt. All those things we wanted to do, the walks and mountains would have to wait for another time. Near to the end of our stay the evening light started to develop to become that wonderful clear light where everything seems sharper and clearer than normal. I had spent most of that day reading and feeling rather fed up but after spending nearly a fortnight doing very little apart from reading I just had to get outside. This lake was about 200m from where we were staying, but was nonetheless and exhausting "hobble" to get there. I managed to get a couple of shots before returning feeling frustrated and thoroughly fed up. It wasn't until several days later I found this on the memory card. Made that struggle rather worthwhile, if only I'd known it at the time!
