(2008-2232) The Surprise View from Millstone Edge Nick
As per its very name, this view surprises me every time I drive along the road towards Hathersage from the Longshaw Estate. Just as the corner is reached this huge vista opens up of the Hope Valley. Very little appears to have changed in the 60 or so years between the photographs except the road signs and markings. Not sure if that stone wall around the corner hasn't been rebuilt or repaired though!
