2. Edale and Grindsbrook

(2008-3226) Edale and Grindsbrook
The viewpoint for this picture must be within a few feet of Poucher's image, but the scene has certainly changed somewhat since 1946. In Poucher's image much of the Holy and Undivided Trinity Church was visible and the trees that now hide it were tiny. The stone wall just to the left of the cottage on the right was not there but there was a wooden fence roughly in the same position. The cars just peeping over the top of this wall were not present, but instead a haystack!
